Job Sub Function: Sales – Infectious Diseases & Vaccines (Commission)

Purpose: Supervises individual contributors (sales representatives), and is accountable for driving sales in the Rare Diseases market and conducting effective performance management. Oversees functions pertaining to the sales strategy of Rare Diseases products and services, from maintaining awareness of the local and general market and adjusting sales tactics to maximizing revenue through leading and evaluating team members. Conducts regular business review meetings and develops innovative solutions to complex sales issues. Complies with established safety, privacy, and confidentiality guidelines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervises individual contributors (sales representatives - TM, KAL), and/or Supervisors, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management.
  • Develops value proposition for pipeline Rare Diseases products.
  • Ensures understanding of brand strategies and aligned objectives.
  • Generates insights and critical analysis of products to formulate marketing and selling strategies.
  • Helps guide sales district in pursuit of strong competitive position and sales growth for Rare Diseases products through strategic and tactical planning (Win the Quarter, Win the Week) for identification of opportunities.
  • Stays current on product knowledge, sales objectives, and industry developments to help determine key business drivers for the market development strategy and anticipate consumer needs for Rare Diseases products and/or services.
  • Advises on how sales strategy may need to shift based on analysis of sales trends, new legislation, and relevant news in Rare Diseases, including competitive, business, and economic data, industry and trade journals/statistics, and ongoing intelligence from approved internal analytical sources and shares it with direct reports (sales reps - TM, KAL.).
  • Responsible for managing operational aspects of their team (e.g., workflow, performance, and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within expected standards.
  • Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.

Requirements:

  • University Degree Completed.
  • Intermediate to advanced English level.
  • Demonstrated track record in pharmaceutical, leading and developing sales teams.
  • Understanding of the healthcare environment and pharmaceutical industry business cycle, especially public accounts in Mexico.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, analytical and digital channels skills.
  • Winning mindset and willing to work in a dynamic, high performing team
  • Status quo averse and aspirational mindset to beat the odds
  • Customer centricity and strong customers relationship (HCPs, Health Institutions, distributors)
  • Marketing experience: capturing market insights and translating this into viable solutions for customers, communicating value, translating market dynamics into pricing strategy, ensuring portfolio sustainability, demand planning and new product launches.
  • Drivers License Required
  • Availability to travel
  • This job is elegible for Sales Comissions.
