Legal Director of Regulatory Affairs and Commercial Contracts

Job Description You will provide critical legal advice and business counsel to the Company in connection with general legal services consisting of commercial transactions, real estate, safety in the workplace, employment laws and practices, legal operations, and regional specific challenges
  • Identify and mitigate risk associated with various business practices and operations
  • Draft and maintain intercompany agreements (i.e., services, lending, licensing)
  • Monitor and provide guidance on data privacy and other applicable laws and regulations
  • Develop and maintain policies & procedures to support relevant regional legal function
  • Analyze complex legal issues and applicable laws as they relate to business of relevant GM region
  • Review, negotiate, and draft agreements for domestic and international transactions
  • Provide assistance in advising on contractual matters and compliance matters
  • Assist in legal budget management and management of outside legal counsel
Additional Job Description

Bachelors Degree in Law. Automotive industry regulations and standards, drafting and negotiating all types of contracts, and legal risk analysis and mitigation.

English proficiency

Hybrid position: This position requires to work 3 days on site 2 days at home remote on a full-time basis

This Job Requisition us not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation cost would be the responsibility of the selected candidate

This position requires the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis. A company Vehicle will be provided for this role with successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Report review.
